Name: Jason Chapman
Home church: Grace Methodist Church Palestine, Texas
Pastor: Reverend Phillip Chamberlain
Denomination: I attend a Methodist Church but I am not a Methodist Minister.
Statement of Faith/Theology: I am a Christian/The word of God.
Education/Experience: I have served in full-time non-paid ministry for approximately 10 years. I have been fortunate enough to serve in several different capacities. I served as a youth minister, worship team bass player and vocalist, and small group leader. I preach when needed at my home church and at local churches in my home town.
Preaching Topics: I preach the word of God in an encouraging, enthusiastic, humorous, and most importantly non-sugar coated manner. I bring practical life applications to the truths of scripture. The Lord has blessed me with the ability to preach the word of God with a unique and humorous insight into this thing called life.
Additional Notes: I am available to preach weekends, special services, and revivals. I would prefer two weeks notice prior to an engagement for logistics purposes and prayer regarding the Lord’s will for the service.
Brief Biography: I am 38 years old and have served as a Texas Peace Officer for approximately 13 years. Throughout my time as a peace officer, the Lord has prepared me to preach the gospel. I have seen humanity at its absolute worst and I know The Lord Jesus Christ is our only answer. I am married and have 2 children and one on the way. I began my ministry career by cleaning the toilets, flower beds, and cutting the grass at church. I just wanted to serve. The Lord has been gracious to me in my law enforcement career and my service unto him. I genuinely love people. I long to see people come to the knowledge of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ.
