Money makes a terrible master, yet it makes a good servant to those who have the right master – God.

Dear reader,PSP_table

I am writing you to ask for your help by financially supporting the Pulpit Supply Preachers ministry (PSP). Our aim is to create a national database of preachers so that churches, ministries, Christian organizations and events, etc. may easily find a preacher or speaker in their area. PSP is just a year old as of December 2015, and approaching 200 registered preachers. Will you help us grow by giving today?

Right now, your financial gift to PSP is not tax-deductible. However, with your help, PSP may be able to become a 501(c)(3) ministry. Your financial support will also help keep registration and listings free, provide for domain and internet hosting costs, and enable PSP to continue making itself known through conferences and press releases and such. Donate today to help keep us moving forward!

Your donations throughout 2015 helped give PSP a presence at the 2015 Johnny Hunt Men’s Conference. We were able to get a PSP banner, business cards, bookmarks, a small inventory of books, and a giveaway. Donations came in various amounts from $5 to $100+. Every single gift helped and was a blessing!

In 2016, PSP is scheduled to have a table at the Defend the Faith Conference at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. There are still some travel expenses (and a few other potential items that need to be covered). We pray that this conference will give us exposure to and be of service to pastors, preachers, and students who are training to be preachers.

The concept of PSP has been very well-received by pastors, evangelists, students, and seminary professors. When PSP was at the last conference, a pastor commented in how he was looking for a service like PSP a few months before we existed. The pastor was in a new church in a somewhat unfamiliar area. He did not know any available preachers in the area but needed one for pulpit supply. He had planned a vacation for his family and thought that several months would be enough time to find a substitute preacher. He did find a preacher with only a week to spare. His situation worked out that time, but PSP may have saved him time and concern.

Thank you all who have given to financially support PSP. And thank you all who have prayed for our success. If you believe PSP provides a valuable service, support the ministry concept, and would like to further help PSP, please donate today.

In Christ,

Mark Lamprecht
