Weldon, Johnny R.

My name is Johnny and I’m a pastor whom is passionate about making Him known in Jacksonville & the nations. I am a verse-by-verse expository preacher who seeks to be passionate, practical, relevant, research based, big-picture focused, and aimed towards everyday application. I enjoy speaking to all ages, but especially ages 13 to 40, and I love to share story based illustrations.

I am 43 yrs old, have 2 children, married 17 years, earned an B.A. at Moody Bible Institute, and both a M.Div and M.A. at Columbia International University. I have served as a missionary for 8.5 years with Pioneers, as a Sr. Pastor of a church plant, and as an Associate pastor of a church of an Southern Baptist church of about 500, and in many other ministries such as a frequent camp speaker, university, and prison ministries speaker.

My specialties in ministry are discipleship, Biblical study, missions, pastoral counseling issues, and multi-ethnic ministries. My scope of preaching/teaching possibilities is pretty broad. I have recently moved back to my home town of Jacksonville, FL to be by family and am looking, I am praying for Pulpit Supply opportunities. I am willing to preach as often and wherever the Lord may lead me , as long as my travel is paid for; if it more than 50 miles from my home. The honorarium would be dependent on the venue, though I am reasonable.
