Coward, Robert
I am a licensed and ordained minister, having served as pastor, and interim pastor, of several Southeast Texas churches over the years. I was raised Southern Baptist and still adhere to the doctrines and tenets of the denomination, but have also preached to Missionary Baptist and Assembly of God congregations. In addition, I have been the featured evangelist at many revival meetings. I am the author of two Christian books, “Miracle from Mayhem”, about my first child born with Spina Bifida and how God used her to lead more people to Christ during the SBC’s simultaneous revivals in 1990 than any other SBC church in the United States. The other book is “Why Pastors Die Young”, which is a non-fiction, behind the scenes look at what pastors go through whenever they are not standing in the pulpit. I am presently trying to get my Christian fictional story, “The Appointed”, published at this time.
I have been married to my wife, Carel, for thirty-nine years. We have one living child, a daughter named Amanda. My wife and I currently live in Houston, Texas, and attend Crossroads Fellowship. I am presently studying online at Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia; but have also been educated at East Texas Baptist University (Marshall, Texas), Lamar University (Beaumont, Texas), and at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Extension Campus at Houston Baptist University). If you would like to speak with me about filling the pulpit at your church as a guest speaker, or in an interim capacity, please contact me via the e-mail address provided so that a phone conversation can be arranged. May God bless and keep you in all of His ways.
