My wife and I have been in ministry for over 52 years. I have retired from my current position as pastor in Surprise, Arizona after more than 12 years in the church there. My experience in ministry is varied from Christian education pastor, Christian school administration, to preaching pastor. I love to teach and preach the Word of God. I am available to preach throughout the Southwest for both short and long-term supply positions.
In the early days of our ministry we served with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Ohio for five (5) years, followed by seven (7) years of ministry with physically and mentally disabled in the same state. Upon moving our family to Phoenix Arizona to further my education, I served in the Christian Education department at Bethany Bible Church while attending college after which I went on to seminary in Denver Colorado. I am a graduate of Denver Seminary where I majored in Old Testament studies.
In 1994 I entered into a period of serving in Christian school administration for ten (10) years both in Arizona and Wisconsin. In order to be better equipped as a school administrator, I enrolled at Nova Southeastern University in 1988 as a doctoral candidate in the Educational Leadership program and received a Doctor of Education degree in November, 1992.
For the past twelve over (12) years my wife and I have served as a team in a church ministry geared exclusively toward senior adults in a retirement resort community in Surprise, Arizona. We have eagerly served that church as their pastor, Bible teacher, and shepherd. The time spent at that church has been wonderful and rewarding beyond words. However, it is time to move on to allow a younger team to take the church to the next step in their ministry. The church as just recently celebrated 30 years of continuous ministry for which we give God the glory.
