After spending 5 years in Texas as a youth minister, a position which included regular opportunities to preach and teach, I transitioned to Arizona to become a full-time chaplain. I truly enjoy ministering to inmates, leading services, and walking with them through difficult times. 

I do find, however, that I miss preaching. I enjoy delivering messages from the pulpit, as well as meeting and interacting with a wide variety of new people. Although I would primarily write new sermons for churches reaching out for pulpit supply, I do have a stock of “ready to deliver” messages, and I am willing to accept an invitation with short notice if you find yourself in a bind. I would also be willing to discuss a short-term commitment if you find yourself needing pulpit supply for multiple Sundays in a row.

As an ordained minister, I am eligible to perform weddings and funerals, and I have a great deal of experience performing and celebrating baptisms and communion as well. 

With enough notice, as well as reimbursement for travel and any necessary accommodations, I am willing to travel up to 8 hours most weekends. Feel free to reach out and inquire regarding distance. 

For churches within a 30-mile radius I would not expect a mileage reimbursement, although an honorarium would be appropriate and could be discussed once we’ve established that I would be a good fit for your congregation.
