Hello,
We are the Leighs. My name is Nathan, my wife is DD. We pray this finds you well. I was born in Munich, Germany, my father was in Intelligence for the US government for 40 years. By the time I was 17 I had lived in 13 homes, 4 different states and 3 different countries.
Salvation:
In 1975 I trusted in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was discipled by Navigators and ministered at Oahu Prison for several years. I met my wife to be in Hawaii, we were married and then left to attend Washington Bible College (WBC)
Pastorate
I returned to my home Church in Hawaii as an associate Pastor. After 2 years we were asked to plant a Church on the south side of Oahu. In 1987 my wife and I sought to go to the Foreign field and ended up taking a 101 year old Church in Roanoke, VA! That was Foreign to us! In total I have served as a Pastor for 14 years in the USA, this includes being a youth Pastor in a Church near WBC in my Senior year of Bible College.
Mission Field
In 1994 my wife, 3 children and I went to the Philippines. There we trained leadership teams and developed discipleship groups. I preached, or spoke at retreats almost every week of the year. The last 4 years I was asked to be department head of International Satellite Ministry for Christ Commission Fellowship. My wife I I traveled throughout the region and into Los Angeles and Canada to help begin Satellites. My wife has worked alongside me discipling women, she also is an educational therapist and worked at Faith Academy in the Philippines for 8 years. During my 4 Home Ministries I served as Missionary In Residence at WBC and Capital Seminary. I also finished my Masters Certificate in Christian Counselling. After 22 years in the Philippines we have returned home. We are currently connecting with internationals and developing small group discipleships. I love to preach and teach, yet felt led not to take a local Pastorate. However, I could make myself available to preach and even give seminars on various topics.
