Statement of Faith/Theology: Covenental, Calvinistic, Conservative Evangelical
Personal Testimony: I always tell people that I was born on a Monday and went to church the next Sunday!! I was raised by Christian parents and at the age of four, my Dad led me in prayer to receive Jesus as my Savior. I was always very active and involved in the church as I grew up-if the doors were open, we were there! As a young teen, I attended a Missions Conference service and the speaker gave an altar call for serving God and I could clearly feel the Lord tugging on my heart and asking me to give my life in service to Him. I did and I have been blessed through good times and hard, but all to the glory of God!
Education: New England Baptist Bible College
Christian & Missionary Alliance Ministerial Study Program (Full Certification and Ordination following that)
**I do not have what would be labeled a ‘traditional’ college degree. I was enrolled in the New England Baptist Bible College in Portland Maine when our infant son was diagnosed with severe neurological delays. This life change required me to leave school.I completed that first year at college and then a few years later I was blessed to be able to enroll in our denomination’s Ministerial Study Program by Extension. This program was a home study by mail . I completed the full 3 years of courses (which would be equivalent to a Bachelors Degree) and then completed all the work needed for my ordination, which I was given in 1993 (I was in a full time pastorate for 3 years prior to being ordained.)
Additional Notes: I am passionate about preaching God’s Word and bringing people the message of Jesus. I enjoy encouraging Christians to come into a deeper faith and walk with Christ.
I preach in an expository style, culminating in a practical day-to-day application with the text. I am excited to serve the Lord here in Florida and I am willing to travel to any church throughout the greater Cape Coral/ Fort Meyers Florida area. I pray that I can serve your church in the future.
